Senior Medicare Patrol
The Virginia Association of Area Agencies on Aging (V4A) operates the Senior Medicare Patrol Project, supported by Grant # 90AM2583 from the Administration on Aging, Department of Health and Human Services, Washington D.C. 20201.
The purpose of this project is to create a Senior Medicare Patrol of volunteer retirees who will be trained in the issues of Medicare and Medicaid fraud and who will be available to provide educational presentations regarding Medicare and Medicaid fraud in their communities.
When Medicare or Medicaid fraud is committed - Who Pays? You Pay! Beneficiaries of Medicare need to carefully review their Medical Summary Notice statement to be sure that the services that Medicare paid their provider were indeed the services they received.
HELP STOP MEDICARE & MEDICAID FRAUD!
Volunteers are being recruited through Area Agencies on Aging throughout the state.
